I am a Master’s student at the MIT Media Lab with the Opera of the Future group. Here, I am designing new kinds of instruments and interfaces, with the goal of making music a less-stressful, more accessible experience for all. My work centers around physical objects, mainly those that are soft and squishy. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, where I also spent a lot of my time in the Design department. I have been playing instruments for my whole life, and I dream of a world where all objects are squeeze-able.
